The mission of Visit Wilkinson County is to foster economic vitality through tourism as we strengthen the bonds of community by supporting local businesses, enhancing the history of the county, and continuously evaluate, adapt, and improve our program.

Schedule a tour of Gordon's Train Museum, the Old Jail or one of the bus tours of local cemeteries and historic sites.  Wilkinson Tourism also offers several self guided tours  of our county's rich history. 

Wilkinson County has some of the best hunting and fishing in the state. Deer, turkey, hogs, dove are plentiful. Fishing is available for private pond or put a boat, kayak or canoe in at Balls Ferry State Park.

Seven cities offer a lot of opportunity for variety in shopping,  dining and venues. From generational farm venues to feeding the fish off the dock, there's something for everyone.
